I think this kind of traffic is useless, because they’re not interested in your content! They’re visiting your website/blog expecting a visit back only.
You can’t really benefit from this type of traffic. The phrase content is king is still alive, if you think your thoughts and your content is good then the traffic will proove it!

Traffic exchange traffic is useless and Alexa rank means nothing. No blogger should be focus on making their Alexa rank better. Its a waste of time. They could be spending their time writing more posts or doing real promotion.
This would be a great way to play with your Alexa rank if you was bored and wanted to see a better Alexa rank. Other then that totally pointless.

actually there are lot of ways to make money online and ” kinds” of blogger , not all of blogger make money by sell something , i know tons of blogger make money by write review and alexa rank help them so much .

If a blogger did the right promotion in the first place they would need to use traffic exchanges to boost their Alexa rank to help them. Besides that is misleading your advertisers. (Dumb advertisers I’d say relaying on Alexa rank in the first place)
