Making Money Online With The MarketMaker
Everyone likes a cool blog name right? John Chow, Shoemoney, they all have one. Well my name, David, is not even remotely cool, expecially when people shorten it to Dave! I also have a couple of people that work with me on the blog and on certain projects so to do the vanity thing and name it after myself just wouldn’t have worked. We looked at tons of cool ‘making money on the Internet’ names and all of them made us sound like a bunch of pimps so we thought some more and eventually came up with ‘The MarketMaker’.
The reason being is that I worked in the stockmarkets for many a year and it kind of has a ring to it. So much so we are coming to believe he exists and we all work for him….
That is the reasoning behind the name, the reasoning behind the blog is simple. We have gained experienced from a different viewpoint in marketing on the web. That of developing web sites and online ideas to be sold to listed companies. So we will be writing articles about what you need to do if you are going to sell you blog, for the ambitious amongst you we will be giving you various heads up on how the listing process works and the various ways it can be done. We will even be giving you the heads up on who is buying what and how much for.
In the meantime we will be showcasing some of the projects we are working on. For example www.checkoutwithcash.com is one company we are working with. If you are a merchant and you accept Visa through Paypal or a merchant account, you really need to know about this business. To cut a long story short, there are an estimated 30 million Americans without credit cards, that is a lot of people who cannot buy stuff on the web. Checkoutwithcash.com set up a deal with some financial institutions including Western Union to be able to give these people a way to buy online, without messing about with coupons and all the other stuff that is hard work.
The blog will be bringing you ideas on how to make money on the Internet through all the traditionals means and some we have kept to ourselves for a while now.
Bottom line is we hope to entertain and inform our readers and add something to the Internet Marketing community.
Thanks for your time
