Spam is an ugly word that is hated by bloggers. Simple words that can crush your search engine ranking by disrupt your blog with their ugly link. Well , I have blog for many year and lucky me , I have receive and read thousands of spam comment and I just need a few seconds to read and mark if the comments are spam. Here , today and in this blog I will share few comments which already marked by me as spam and I have deleted all links in comments bellow ( no link love for spammer )

My suggestion for scammer or who love to scam:
- I know scammers are people who have a bad time doing SEO for their site/blog but scamming is not the solution for SEO
- If you want to have a nice traffic from blogwalking or get some nice link love from other blog , then leave your best comment , just like what I said in my previous post “ learn more about your traffic source and how to improve it “
- If your are about want to make yourself famous then scamming is not the right answer…. I am serious….lol

they won’t to learn. i bet all spammer is laziest than we think , when we think hard about how to improve our SEO , they don’t . they just want to steal something from us.
Great post !! I protected my blog from spam comments by turning on moderation.I will try out Askimet too.

i can protect my blog from scam by moderation but i don´t think this is the way because you could moderate more than scam… cutting the freedown of your readers.
This is a very difficult problem…
If your spammers are looking for SEO you only have to make “nofollow” comments.

sometimes when we are busy. moderate comment is a “time killer ” but in the other side i have moderate comment.
i use Askimet and it protect me from spam comments and also it has easy installation and configuration.

off course , you can easily find other similar plugin at wordpress plugin directory . all of them is free but about how powerful the plugin can protect your blog from spammer , i am not really sure . so i vote only for askimet.

Ok, found it, good! Was getting even more concerned. What are we talking about? We found the aimtrust words on this page in one of your spam examples, so are relieved, a bit, because when we first quickly scanned your page, couldn’t find it and were thinking that things are just getting more and more odd regarding aimtrust. Almost feels like spamming is working for somebody in an odd way, as we’ve been having trouble regards getting hits to our site from aimtrust that we don’t want (our web stats show) from three different sites of aimtrust, and we don’t want these hits. Why not? When, out of curiosity to see who our hits were coming from in our stats, we visited the sites and could not find our web link on any of the pages. We’ve tried contacting them but it seems almost impossible. Live online help isn’t much help so far, and captcha phrases typed in perfectly and correctly on the contact form keep saying wrong captcha. Support tickets we did manage to send have not yet been responded to with a solution for us. When typing in aimtrust on Google, a whole lot of results come up with the word scam in them. We don’t appreciate getting hits from a site when the situation is like this, and especially when we can’t get to all their pages or see our link on any of their pages. We use akismet on our blog too, and it’s good, but I don’t think it could help in a situation like this - stopping hits from a certain site or sites that we don’t want. Not sure what to do, and have posted a short article on our blog about it in the hope that somebody can offer some advice. It sucks getting unwanted hits from a site.

Oh dear! We’re sorry if you thought we meant Akismet isn’t doing it’s job - We love Akismet and it’s doing a great job for comments that are spam on our blog. The traffic we’re getting from aimtrust sites is just traffic, not comments. We were hoping for advice on how to stop traffic from a site, but we found some advice on Google about blocking traffic from certain sites and will look into it more today. We ARE trying to do something about it as in have tried to contact the aimtrust sites but they’re pretty much “uncontactable” right now, so we have to see what else we can do to stop traffic from their sites - we can’t even find a link of ours on their sites - it’s odd!

ps, We’ve had at least 5 of the exact same spam comments on our blog as in your examples. Sucks! Akismet blocks them though, then we just go delete them from our spam inbox. Freaks us out and we don’t get why they keep at it. It would take the same amount of time to leave a decent worthwhile comment, of even just 30 words or so, and they would get their linkback accepted, and it would be deserved too. We also feel sorry for the people who are paying “marketers” to leave comments on other blogs for them, then not checking that these paid marketers have been doing a good job of it - they’re getting a bad name for their business due to bad marketers.

Akismet is already installed in your plugin section. You just need to activate it by going under plugin section.
